Dear Slava,

1. Just for the record I have indeed never been to Odesa
2. I have never given advice about Odesa under pretense having been there.
3. I maintain that the geographic location of an information provider has nothing to do with his potential to be of service.

Food for thought
Maybe sometimes and outsider is better qualified to judge a situation than an insider actually living in the country. He or she is offering services to people of his/her own cultural environment and can look as it were with THEIR eyes.

Of course actual, on the spot problems arising in a nick of time are a quite different matter. When my friend fell everly ill, I was extremely thankful that Rostick was there and procured a doctor after hours calling around.

I hope this explain my previous post better to you Slava. Oh, and by the way, a country man of mine i married to a Odesa lady, so in that respect
indeed I could come up with some Odesa info it it was necessary. However we have a lot of Odesa expert around here. ---smile---.

Sincerely,
Hans

: Hans will give advice about Odessa yet he has never been to this city?

: Rostick from Kiev who no doubt sounds to be a reliable guide in that city but strange Ukrainian guy having no contacts in his own country while recommending a mail order bride agency in Texas?

: Jack from his command post in Texas is an expert on not one but basically all cities in Ukraine. If you have a problem here what can he personally due to help you after providing services?

:
: : : Not a negative post, just curious why a Odessa Ukraine traveler would be best off finding local accommodation in Odessa from someone in Texas though we know you Rostick in Kiev no less are their suposed employee???

: : :
: : : : : I'm looking for some good and cheap addresses of hotels or guest rooms in Odessa for the month of August. I also wonder if somebody knows if it's possible to go by boat to Odessa from Bulgaria (Varna?) and how does it cost?
: : : : : thanks for all your informations. Carole

: : : : Dear Sir,

: : : : I would suggest that you contact the firstdream company, as they have contacts in Odessa who can help you.
: : : : www.firstdream.com

: : : : With best wishes,
: : : : Rostick.

: : Dear Slava,

: : The thing is that I would help this person myself, but unfortunately I don't live in Odessa, so the best thing I could do is let this person know that he can get help from the people that know of. I would also say that I`m not an employee, I work with firstdream company, and it's a great honor for me, because they are fair with their clients, and they treat people like they are supposed to be treated. Any local person that I've met so far who is involved in this business has to go a long way of learning in order to learn all the ethics which have to be applied. Please don't get me wrong, I`m not saying that I`m perfect, but I`m doing my best to learn.
: : And after all, look at your post, what positive content does it have??? Ask yourself, is it so important to share your opinion, when it was not required by the others??

: : With best wishes,
: : Rostick.
