How is the quality of the phone lines outside of Kyiv? It seems to be getting worse, but I would like to know if anyone else is experiencing problems. For example, in one conversation on a private line, all of a sudden another couple's conversation cuts into the same line (similar to the experience of a party line). In a second call, when I was sure that I dialled the correct number, I got a fax tone. Also, is there any difference between direct dialing and using a phone card when getting these problems?
