I was in Yalta this year for the second time. Very nice place and vacation as the last time. Unfortunately I was robbed by a restaurant named MARINA (written in Cyrillic alphabet). They charged un unbelievable bill that I had to pay as I made the mistake not to ask for the price of every single dish before ordering. The list was only in Russian, as almost everywhere in Yalta, and I could not check anyhing. As it was my second time in Yalta I felt relaxed and was not scared about being cheated. Instead I was treated like a fool having fun for the first time in an unknown night club.
So beware of the restaurants in Yalta and always ask for the price of every single thing before ordering, even of a piece of bread !
Good news: they just opened up this year a Mc Donald's in town. Very nice and safe !
