I think I have not expressed myself correctly when I was talking about the "typical" price, I apologize for that. In fact, the prices on the menu were (as I recall) for a certain weight of meat (I think 100 g). That's why there was the discrepancy between the price on the menu and the price of the actual meal if the weight was different. I think this is (or at least used to be) quite typical for numerous restaurants in Eastern Europe. And believe me, I know it from my own experience as I was raised in Eastern Europe myself and travelled around the area a lot.
And mind you, I did not consider this whole matter as a bad experience. But you might have referred this comment to Jerry, for whom this might have been totally new.
