Hello Jon, thanks for your comments, Kiev is a wonderful, beautiful city, but a little to big and to expensive for me. But, Yalta on the other hand, sounds real intriguing, something to look into. Have you been there, are there things to do? Thanks for your input

: If I were to spend a lengthy spell in Ukraine I personally would want to base myself in Kiev. More expats (I'm British) for company, more to do in general really - entertainment, shopping etc.
