The I-129F Finacee Visa (K-1/K-2) is a temporary non-immigrant visa for marriage purposes, whereas the I-130 is an immigrant visa for a family member. These have different ramifications with differing processes, process facilities, paperwork hoops, time and costs. She should NOT get a student visa or any other temp visa, that could be a very costly mistake.
: Although we went the K-1/K-2 (I-129F) route over the I-130F becuase of likely quicker processing times, there is now the K-3/K-4 visa that should allow you to be together in the USA while the I-130F is being processed. So check the USA, US Ukraine, and Polish Embassy sites completely.

: : I am a US citizen interested in marring my Ukraine girl friend. What are some of the steps I need to take here to shorten the process. Is it better for her to apply for a Student Visa or Visitation Visa or just get married?
