Another option you might want to consider is getting married in Ukraine and then filing the I-130 petetion directly with the U.S. Consulate in Warsw.
This is known as Direct Consular Filing and the approval process takes approximately 60-90 days to complete and she comes here as a conditional permanant resident with her green card already in hand.
As to a visitor visa or studen visa the probablility of getting either one is slim at best. If you cannot do the DCF route then by all means go with the I-129F. It is much faster than the spousal visa filed with immigration. Good luck
