:Sorry Nick, its 'old city' not pld, or in Czech Staro mesto.

Hi Nick,

: Prague is a wonderful city, Check out the pld city with its wonderful bohemian and baroque palaces, very romantic or even better a walk across Karlov Most (Charles bridge). Lots of little shops. Great beer (Pilsner Urquell and Radegast were my personal favourites). They have a good public train system so it is easy to get about. From Ruzhyne airport there is a shuttle bus just outside the exit hall that will take you to the metro station, where you can get a tube to where ever you wish. However you will probably get a taxi, try and get the price before getting into the car. Do not change money on the streets, however there is a Thomas cook office at the Museum end of Vaclav Square who will change american express travellers cheques with no commission. I cant think of anything else other than the usual do's and dont's of a big city. Prague is very pretty and I think that it would set the right tone for your holiday.

: Cheers
