: : Actually, JOE's comment was completely *correct* - with the small exception that he referred to a Private visa as a "personal" visa.

: : Rules for the different forms of readily-available (not ALL) visas are:

: : * Private visa. No invitation required. Maximum of 2 entries. Maximum duration of 6 months.
: : * Tourist visa. Invitation required. Maximum of 2 entries. Maximum duration of 6 months.
: : * Business visa. No invitation required. Unlimited number of entries. Maximum duration is 3 years.

: : Those are the basic rules.

: : - Dan

: : : \Invitation is not and has been needed for over a year.(for tourist)
: : : Please only comment when youknow what you are talking about

: : : : : The ukremb.com website says no special anything is needed is this correct.?
: : : : : I want a 3 year multi-entry and am a tourist?

: : : : I don't think you can receive a multi-entry visa as a tourist. This usually applies to a business visa. I think your best option is to apply for a personal visa, if you know any Ukrainian friends or relatives living in the Ukraine. You need to write their name and address on the Ukrainian visa application. A tourist visa is more restricted because you have to have a day by day itinerary from a travel agent, listing your daily tourist activities. Good luck with your person visa to the Ukraine.

: : : : Sincerely, Joe

: The comment was right about the tourist visa - please refer to the link http://www.ukremb.org.uk/ and also this link which is written by the Embassy of Ukraine - Consulate Section in London http://www.ukraine.co.uk/ukrvisa.htm

I think all you guys need to do some checking. I have a multiple entry visa (Вагаторазова)I assume that is what this means. But anyway my visa is not for six months it is for a year. This is not a guess, my visa is in front of me issued by the embassy in Washington.
