: : Very good post, I d be interested in hearing the recommendations of cities as well, but, I will name a few of the cities I ve visited that I feel are safe, friendly and liveable,
: : Poltava, very green city, beautiful well kept center, newer trollys, fun things to do, I was told by my guide that the mayor of Poltava is a good man and another city I would list is Kharkov, I ve walked the center of Kharkov alone at night,many times, never felt threatened in any way, friendly people on the metro, happy to give directions, also a beautiful center. There are cities in Ukraine, like everywhere, I wouldnt want to reside, but that's a different subject.
