When you are going to find someone who can teach you English so you can come to America and are been able to speak, this "someone" certainly is not going to be schoolteacher. Schoolteacher is only good for very basic knowledge. This person should have enough of experience speaking to foreigners. This person must be guide from "Intourist" or lived in English-speaking country for some time and price for lesson will be not less than $10 per hour. I don't know such person in Nikolaev. It is hard to find.: Have your "someone" get in touch with one of the local high schools. The teachers of English there are always thrilled to have the opportunity to make a few hrivnias. (the going rate seems to be about 15-20 hr/hour for private lessons)
