My girl in Lugansk found that private tutoring was less effective than group classes. Having others to practice and learn worked better for her. There were several options available and the prices quoted so far are on the money.

: I can confirm that the going rate is about 15 bucks an hour in Nikolaev for a private teacher (usually a college instructor or "grad" student on their off hours). This should include all materials, phone support for questions during homework, and regular administerd exams. At least that's what I'm getting for my dollar.
