Do NOT do it! Travelers cheques are treated by Ukrainian custom as cash and therefore they are subjust to the 10K cap. Wire transfer seems to be the best option. I would come to Ukraine first, open a banking account there and then request a wire transfer to that account by contacting your US bank. It is always a good idea to let your bank know in advance of your desire to withdraw such amount as 80K or so.
