believe it or not the average wage here is 5 USD per day, for some types of labor this IS what I paid, the highest salary I paid, was about 250 USD per month, sometimes I needed sub-contractors who did receive more, but their renumeration is not considered a salary. Everyone I hired was happy to get the job AND BE PAID ON TIME, which is a very rare thing in Ukraine. I checked on local salary levels before I began, and decided to pay on the upper level of the local salary curve, but not above it. My past experience has shown that paying more will not get you more in return, instead the people here will think you're foolish and will try to explot you, Ukraine will make a cynic of you FAST
