As Ukrainian prostitutes are all over it does not really help to suggest alternative places. Istanbul is maybe convenient because is both romantic and relatively cheap to travel for Ukrainians.
I would finally say keep away from staying in the hotels where well known as eastern european prostitute districts (Old Istanbul/Laleli, Aksaray etc). If you are busted by the police in a pub or night club, then a lot of headache, every blond in these districts is treated as "natasha".
