Kat,

Where are you going?? Im sure there are experts here that can tell you what to do and where to go. I have found the price span to be very wide. I can spend 50 to 70 USD and be comfortable a night. I can spend 5 uds on a meal, if you get the right spot, but a very fancy place I have spend 45 USD and been disappointed. I felt for that price I should have enought food for a small Family.

ONe time, they put bread and butter on the table, and my food was not there yet, so I ate it. ANd They charged me 3 USD just for one piece of bread.

If you can buy from Vendors in the street, and Make your food in your room, You save a LOT of money. But that might not be your idea of a vacation. I find with me not knowing enought of the language to get buy, I feel more comfortable to pointing at stuff, and handing money, then trying to read a Menu.

Good Luck. If you are going to Ukraine, It is a very intresting place. enjoy. Dr. Darrell.
