Del,
Great timing with your post as I just got out of the shower.
Let's see here as I try to make sense of your post, as your post to me are becoming more increasingly inaccurate and mis-leading.
I guess I should tell you that I am an American businessman who specilizes in brokering of deals and the buying, selling and merging of International companies.
As you know from some of my post's on Planet Love, I am quite involved with many aspects of the FSU including as of late, the purchasing and selling of flats in Ukraine and Russia.
In the past I have averaged about 2 trips per year with sometimes making 3. With my recent interest in real estate, and having a 3-year business visa, I find that I am now traveling to Ukraine 3 and 4 times a year as good real estate investments pop up.
In the past, when only making a few trips a year on average, I would usually escort 2, sometimes 3 American business men with me as we would look at this one business or meet with people regarding the purchase and shipping of certain goods or products or for whatever the business reason was.
Ofcourse I want the best, most professional care and attention I could get for my guest. If anything goes wrong with the trip, such as my clients not liking a flat, or someone not meeting us at the airport on time or having an interperter who did not understand good English, I would run the risk of losing the deal.
Del, I have tried several of the local agencies in the various cities I have done business in and one agency who might be good one year was bad the next. Ofcourse I met my fair share of locally owned agencies who were bad from the start. I went to the American owned (and operated) companies because I felt I had to find something more reliable, and this is what I found.
I do not apolize for my past mistakes, as it was a true learning experience. After discovering something that is not broke, like the service and attention I get from Firstdream, why try to fix a problem if it is not broke. I am happy with Firstdream. They take care of all my traveling needs in the FSU. I have used there service before in Kiev. However, having met a new person in Kiev from Firstdream last week, due to the level of expertise I received from there man in Kiev, Rostick, was so spendid I thought it was worth mentioning. So Del, I will lay credit where credit is due. Rostick is a Ukraine man. He is in Kiev. He is not American and he gives great service. There Del, I am giving credit to an Ukraine individual, not an American. Just so happens he was employed by an American company when he provided me with his services.
Now Del as I had to mention something to you a few days ago about you making statements and allegations about me that I proved inaccurate, I asked you to please correct your mistake, which you never did. {shows what truly type of person you are I might add} Now Del you say to me something like, " previous posts regarding your competitiors were much sour grapes ". Del, I don't know what you have been drinking in that water up there in Canada, but could you please explain or tell me what you are referring too about my previous post regarding my competitors.
In my business there is a great amount of confidentality involved. Most of my competitiors, who are often French, German, Italian and other American companies, never even know when I am in Moscow or Kiev (I hope). For this I am confused as to how you can make another of your inaccurate, mis-leading statements. Hey, maybe you have been messing around too much with Roman and Handy Andy who are the Kings of making Stupid Statements.
Next question, as I am not Canadian, what is a "shill".
And last, what do you mean by not being open and above board. I have never seen where other posters had to clearify what they do for a living and if they didn't, it meant that they were guilty of unethical practices.
Does this mean that since you have not told us what you do for a living (and now it is mandatory according to "Del's rules"), this shows us the type of "Typical Canadian business practice" that you are proud of.
