Wrong....

Does not stop the many thousands of Ukraine Citizens (who happen to live in Odesa) registering cars in Moldova and driving them without problems in Ukraine.
I have a teacher who told me ALL her friends have their cars registered in Moldova (and I have seen plenty of evidence to back her statement). She and most of her friends live in Odesa central.

One observation I have made is the inability of the DAI (Road Police) to stop a German made vehicles for traffic offences or at check points...and in particular those with Moldovian plates. Real strange that!!!! Must be allergic to Merceedes, BMW and Audi.

I travel the Odesa-Moldova road almost daily and in my experience have never seen a German luxury car stopped by police. Ever!!!! (-:
