You do not have to worry at all about visa if you are american or from an EEC country. If your plan is to stay in Kiev and you are not a millionaire I suggest that you restrain the enthusiasm before you meet your girl and you get your figures right on how expensive the town it can get as there is people with a lot of money in Kiev that not everybody can match and gourmet restaurants and classy hotels places as they can be pretty expensive for normal people.
I suggest that you look for any topic information that you are interested in on the search machine of this website as there are plenty of topics discused in here and you can also check other websites like www.travelinukraine.com
