I have been to Kiev several times and I have not found a bad restaurant yet. I would recommend Da Vinci's right next to Hotel Dnipro on Kreschatyk Street, Chataeu Le Fleur also on Kreschatyk and the ELF cafe just off of Independence Square. Kiev has all types of restaurants to choose from so you should have no problem.
Try these sites and they will list all the restaurants and address's in Kiev.
