kolo nas #12

KOLO NAS #12 took place at ra gallery on tuesday, january 4th 2005. this time serhiy zhadan and andriy bondar read their newest poetry. serhiy began the event by reading poems from his recently completed book ukrssr which will be published later this year. afterwards he gave a copy of his poems to virlana to be translated with wanda phipps. he concluded by reading a monologue he had written for yara’s koliada: winter songs. andriy read a selection of poems from his new book that was published in fall as well as one that appeared in the journal chetver. Bondar and Zhadan have participated in kolonas 2 and supported the development of the series.
